Borough Market

Hello Everyone!!!! It has been so long since I last posted. Lots of things have happened since my last post. I had my first class, in which we toured alongside the Thames. At the very end we arrived at Borough market.Which was amazing! Here are some pictures of my adventure that day.

I could see the London Eye from afar, and Big Ben too!

This was a weird red building that looked kind of neat to me :)

These fish sculptures were on every lamp post
We got a little bored in class so we decided to take a selfie ;)
Its the Millennium Bridge (also known as the wobbly bridge because the first time they released it the amount of foot traffic caused the bridge to wobble so bad that they had to shut it down and redo it!)
The Globe!!! I had a mini spaz attack when I saw it!

Another selfie by the river :D

And we arrived at Borough Market! Hungry and tired I dove into a duck wrap with plum sauce. Then cooled off with the below drink, which was cocoa and hibiscus tea. It was oddly delicious.
This is the restaurant where the tea came from
One other group member got fish and chips, YUM
Here is some duck wrap :)
And then there was this amazing thing. The picture below was the best doughnut I have ever EVER had. It was their vanilla one, freshly baked. You could see the flecks of vanilla bean throughout the filling which felt like a rich custard type wonderfulness. I will be going back just for this doughnut alone.
 Eggs everywhere!
This lovely gentleman was making paella from a huge pan. It was delicious too!
The same vendor also had a curry, which was so spicy and wonderful!

So many meat pies!!!!

These were adorable owl cookies, this vendor was really nice and struck up a wonderful conversation about their cookies. I ended up purchasing one that tasted like cinnamon perfection.

My time at Borough market was much too short. But I left there a happier person than when I had arrived. This place is an amazing spot for food of all kinds. All of which are fresh and amazing.

Until next time where I will discuss a fabulous visit to the Harry Potter film studios!
Love you all!
McKenna
